More than 100 years ago in Sweden, in the outskirts of Stockholm, a man named Amandus Zakarias Sellberg started transportation business with one horse - he delivered milk to clients in the area. When his company faced difficult times he did not follow many of his fellow citizens and did not flee to the U.S.; instead, he persuaded the bank to give him a loan to save his business and keep the promises given to clients.
Entrepreneurial Spirit
In 1928, the company under the leadership of Amandus' son Ragnar Sellberg introduced a new type of service - collection of waste. Ragnar thought: after the dairy products had been delivered to clients, why not use the empty carriage to collect clients' waste and take it back to his farm where he had a compost heap?
From Ragnar Sellberg's name emerged the current name of the company.
Care for Environment
Today, the transportation services that the company once provided are completely replaced by professional care for waste management and solution of environmental issues. What others see as waste we regard as valuable resources. The company follows this principle already in 6 countries, including Latvia (Ragn-Sells is providing services to clients in Latvia from Spring 2005).

From a small family enterprise Ragn-Sells has grown into an international waste management and environmental solutions company. During the decades of development the company has created methods for waste sorting, recovery and recycling ensuring the return of waste back into the economic cycle in the form of raw materials. Ragn-Sells principle is to serve clients with enthusiasm and to keep improving the service solutions that would meet the needs of the epoque.
